Merlot Fresh 2017

The white label indicates fresh Guštin wines. The grapes are harvested when the pips are also ripe. We grind and macerate it in the cellar for five days. The wine is then matured for one year in inox barrels on its fine lees with stirring and minimal addition of sulhur. The wine is then bottled and stored in the cellar for a further 6 to 12 months before sale.

Mature prestigious "Prestige" Guštin wines are marked with a black label. The grapes are harvested when they are fully ripe, with already brown pips and stalks. Maceration takes place in the cellar for up to 21 days. The wine is then matured in oak barrique barrels for a year on its fine lees, stirred with minimal addition of sulfur. Before bottling, the wine matures for another year in inox barrels. The wine is stored in the cellar for another 2 to 5 years before the sale.

Rosé 2018

To make rosé wine, merlot grapes are harvested when ripe. It is then grinded and macerated in the cellar for one day to obtain a pleasant rosé color. It then matures in inox barrels on its fine lees for another year. We then bottle the wine and store it in the cellar, where it waits for sale for another 6 to 12 months before it is ready for our buyers.

Rosé sparkling wine

Rosé sparkling wine is made from Rosé wine according to the Charmant method in a large tank. Rosé sparkling wine is distinguished by pleasant fruitiness and freshness. In addition to all the virtues that Rosé wine itself already has, a brandy infusion is added to the Rosé sparkling wine, which further emphasizes the characteristic character of the extra dry Rosé sparkling wine.

Merlot and Malvasia wine distillate year 2014.
It is made according to the recipe of our great-grandfather Guštin from 1925, when he was still cooking brandy - brandy from grape skins. At that time, our places were ruled by the state of Italy, which did not allow the cooking of spirits - schnaps, locally, and the farmers did it in secret. We found the recipe of our great-grandfather Guštin in 2005 and updated it according to the taste of today. The brandy, made according to the original recipe, matures for five years in oak barrels. 



In the cellar, we produce wine in stainless steel containers and barrique French oak barrels.
We have a line of young merlot with a white-label, and a line of mature merlot with a black label, which is sold after 5 years.
We also grow ripe Malvasia, which we ripen in a barrique, under a black label. More extensive, however, is the young Malvasia line, matured in stainless steel barrels, under a white label.


For the most part, our customers enjoy young lines for everyday use, and for special occasions, they can also afford Guštin wine with a black label.
Both lines have received many awards and recognitions from various evaluations, for several years in a row, such as. selection of sommelier of Slovenia 2017, AGRA gold medals and some silver, there are also customers
extremely satisfied.
